One Howard News: Time to Start Your End User Role-Based Learning Journey
Welcome to the latest edition of One Howard News. Your source for CommunityWorks Oracle Health updates, training, and project information. Our next milestone is the End User and End User Provider Role-Based Learning Journey Assignment. Please log in to the Learning Portal and complete all required courses. To access your personalized Learning Portal Dashboard, click the link below. Google Chrome is the recommended browser for the best experience, although other browsers may also be supported.

2. For your first time logging in: use the First Time User "Click Here" option on the bottom on the login box


3. Username: Username – HOWD and your (first initial+ last name) and (same as Oracle login) ex. HOWDjdoe
4. Access Code: Cerner123! (Note: this is not your password, just your one-time access code)
5. Create your password

Each edition will provide the latest project updates, key milestones, training opportunities, implementation timelines, and resources designed to support a successful transition. Together, we're building a more connected, efficient, and patient-centered healthcare experience through one integrated EMR platform.

CommunityWorks EMR Project Timeline – See What’s Ahead

We are excited to introduce the CommunityWorks EMR Project timeline, now available on the CommunityWorks EMR Project landing page. This new visual timeline experience provides a graphic overview of key phases and milestones across the EMR implementation journey, including planning, design and build, testing, training and readiness, go-live preparation, and post-launch optimization. The timeline was developed to help staff stay informed, track progress, and better understand where we are in the implementation process and what’s ahead as we prepare for this important transformation.
We encourage all staff to explore the timeline regularly for project updates and milestone highlights as Howard University Hospital moves toward a more connected, integrated, and patient-centered future. Together, we are building the future of care at HUH.

We are excited to announce the relaunch of the CommunityWorks EMR Project landing page is your central destination for the latest updates, resources, and information related to Howard University Hospital’s important Electronic Medical Record (EMR) transformation initiative. As HUH continues preparing for the implementation of CommunityWorks powered by Oracle Health, the landing page has been refreshed to provide easier access to project information and support resources designed to help staff stay informed and prepared throughout the journey.
